As our friendships grow, Lori's "Grand Design" falls further apart. Her need to destroy families and friends becomes greater, but what doesn't change is what she's done in the past. It's so true that you can't change the past and for her, there is so much damage left behind that none of her, "I've changed" bullshit is ever going to make a difference.
Truthfully, there are so many things that I'd like to be working on in this case that I don't know where to start, but location and the unknown keeps me too distant from the people that I need to work with. I am certain that as soon as I know what we have, I can put together a case and story that will tell itself.
I know that Jonathan, Barbara and others know the story from where they began, but I've been dealing with Lori for so long now that I have the friends that can fill in all of the blanks from before. My friends know that there was a problem brewing long before she ever graduated from school. I had friends telling me that Lori was crazy long before I knew it. You tend to shrug things like that off when you are trying to follow a rule that may be a bit outdated considering the terror that the world faces on a daily basis: "If you have nothing good to say about someone, don't say anything at all..." is not realistic in a modern world where terror can strike at any moment.
Lori's "different" than other people. Even she will tell you that. The problem arises when you find out what "different" means. Homicidal? Criminal? Overly aggressive? All of these things come in to play and, yes, they are much different than the people you see on a daily basis.
I've heard and seen things that she's done that most of you would be shocked by! The stuff that comes from her mouth isn't anything you'd listen to for more than a minute and most of it you would report to the police when you did. She hides behind a system of communication that allows her to see what you think about the outrageous things she says and then she feeds off of it. It's a never ending cycle of "how much can I shock you with my hatred"?
She's homophobia, bigotry, hatred and all kinds of hurtful...all she says is that there are others like her. I'd hate to meet any of them.
I'm happy that Lori's had her Worst Week Ever...let's make it a lifetime.
