I like to call this song, "The Ballad of Brian and Laurie".  It's by the coolest band from San Diego's beloved music community.  You get some Eddie Vedder, some Blink 182, some Stone Temple Pilots, some Jewel, some Jason Mraz, but when it comes to the local flavor of the area...it's always the Rugburns for me!  These guys are just fun loving great guys.  They play the street fairs, the venues.  The people just love them wherever they go.  The Bellyup Tavern.  No matter where you get to see The Rugburns, you are going to see a group of fun loving musical legends from our area of the globe.  Everyone has a hometown hero band and this one is ours.
They've known all the people that made it huge but these guys have had their successes too.  "Hitchhiker Joe" is one of their funniest songs that you may have heard, but this one is for Laurie and Brian's family.
