Order has been restored in the Ohio LGBTQ universe and there will, once again, be PRIDE in Cleveland, Ohio!!! I'm really glad that only a month after the RNC held their Trump Rally, that the gay community has recovered enough for there to be a gay pride event to make the fun people, fun again!!!
Now that 18 organizations teamed up, there will be a parade for the community that always brings color and happiness to OHIO. I've read that there will be not much fanfare in this celebration and that isn't something that I like. The important thing to remember here is that the "party" was cancelled, but now, it will be held for all of those people in that city that need more. More happiness, more sense of belonging and more togetherness.
Frankly, I'm a bit upset that a city with the reigning NBA World Champions has allowed this section of the community down. If you are a city with a professional sports team and you can't even support a LGBTQ pride event, then you should seriously look at your committment to community standards. Just as important as equality for the black, Muslim and physically disabled is the need for sexual equality for all of your citizens. Why? The reason is simple, we support all of those communities within our own...women, blacks, hispanics, caucasians, physically disabled, mentally disabled and all religious belief systems, all receive love from our community because they are all members of our community. We have police officers, firemen and women, community leaders from every walk of that city in our midst...and they all have one thing in common...LGBTQ pride!!!
It's a shame when only the "GOD HATES FAGS" people don't have a reason to meet too.
