Scanning for these RFID chips inside of victims and police officers is as easy as scanning at the "self service" aisle at Walmart. It's really not that hard to find these chips in a non-invasive way. They can't remove them without surgery however. If any officer thinks that Laurie and Brian removed these chips from their temples, they are mistaken. They can move from the spot of implantation over time, as the bonding cap is only as good as you rub your temples and as life goes on. They are more than likely in the same area tissue surrounding the implant site, just deeper or higher or lower. Having them removed outside of a hospital environment isn't suggested.
