The choice to install security cameras outside of my home was based on the knowledge that nobody understands how badly Laurie and her brother want to steal things from my family and hurt us. Laurie, in an effort to cause more problems, then decided to text my mom as my niece to say, "I think he's spying on us" which is hardly the case. All the cameras are installed outside and around the perimeter of the home. This keeps Laurie and Brian from coming anywhere near our residence and makes it impossible for them to tamper with food, steal our belongings or take my meds.
It is a necessary step that I had to pay for without my family fully understanding the danger that she has put all of us in. She would be here no matter whether I said anything or not...so the home has to be secure beyond door locks.
I've explained that this whole system is to protect the people I love...I wouldn't spy on anyone but Laurie trying to break in, which is something she's shown by that restraining order with this address and the other thefts of property previously at this residence. Even my sister will recall missing money without an explanation and her own car door being left open one night after it was opened. This kind of security will give us the who as well as the what was taken.
