The early bird news on my dad's situation is good! Thank God!!! I spoke with my mom this morning and she said that he just had his best day so far since being in the hospital...of course Laurie is now telling me he's going, "to take a turn for the worse"...and she keeps referring to him as a "cancer patient".
My dad doesn't have cancer everyone...he has pulmonary embolisms in both lungs and slight pancreatitis...but he is getting treatment and is feeling better. His color is back and he's feeling like everyone's prayers worked!!!
He's tougher than most and was a physical education teacher for all his life...so seeing him in bed is unusual for all of us...he's getting older, just like me!!!
