One of the most fun things that I like to do is to plan for the future of the individuals involved in this project. You've already heard about how I've assigned roles to just about everyone in this project...the Eagle Scout, the priest, the elder statesman, the politician, the champion...and so forth. What I like to do now is polish them.
By polish, I mean, hone their skill sets to model a future for each of them. I always want to work with them, but they all have individual goals after becoming the "HateLisa" guys and gals. Planning for their futures is something that I believe shows them that I care far beyond this project. There is no doubt that we will all remain friends through our commonality of experience, but for far too long all of us stopped dreaming about what we could do, and focused on the task at hand.
Tonight I want all of my team members to realize that the actuality of our project will afford them with chances to live out their dreams...albeit a bit later in life than we all thought. We have to polish and shine your skills now...so work on your individual roles and make sure you do this project the ways we've designed it. With class, hard work and dignity...try to make as few mistakes as you can and rely on each other's strengths...okay?
