During the period that the federal court is looking at the behavior of officers from the Palm Springs Police Department and their "sting operation" with the Nichols' family, I have some questions that need to be answered by my team.
How many times did Laurie and Rae Fernandez discuss this operation...and did Laurie ever suggest pawning any of her stolen items to this shop? We all know, the targets of electronic harassment, that Laurie and Brian have stolen far more than they could have ever used. So if Laurie's favorite cop was running a sting operation in a pawn shop in Palm Springs, just how involved did Laurie get?
Money has been tight for Brian and Laurie and the desire to fence her stolen items in a place where her "sister friend" was keeping an eye on the establishment could have provided the LaTweeks with an outlet for their stolen merchandise. It certainly must have entered into Laurie's mind that she could potentially unload some of the stolen "loot" there...and or drugs...so just how involved did Rae Fernandez get with Laurie in this operation?
There are a few of us that have bullet holes in our homes and cars...and stolen cars...as a "warning" for talking about electronic harassment and helping others. I've noted that the Nichols' family was also subject to threats, violent confrontations and warning shots....could the two be related? It is a possibility.
Also, there are those of us that have been warned by police officers not to pursue avenues of complaint against the PSPD too...whether through words or actions....I note all similarities knowing that Rae Fernandez was Laurie's favorite go to girl on the scene...and Laurie mysteriously moves out of the area just as this operation starts up.
