This time Catholic church critic Francois Marie-Arouet also known as Voltaire has been used by Laurie to contact me. I guess she thinks that using famous male authors' names is a way of making her look well read. I got this email from "Voltaire Rico" an alleged U.C. Santa Cruz "undergraduate" writing a paper...blah, blah, blah.
You should all know that over the past few weeks both the topics of Voltaire, Santa Cruz and being a college student have come up in conversations that my team and I have had. The Voltaire comes from a song from, Les Miserables' "Master of the house" when the inn keeper's wife is talking about her husband's inadequacies..."cunning little brain, regular Voltaire, thinks he's quite a lover....but there's not much there"...is the line It figures that Laurie would use the biggest laugh in the whole show to try to be aloof with...whatever?
Then there is the last name...a reference to "RICO" a racketeering charge used by the government for schemes involving organized crime...subtle isn't she? I believe that I've joked about being a whistleblower for the mortgage fraud scheme that landed Steven Frey in debt to the tune of half a million dollars...I've even joked that the home that I want to buy Christopher should be called the "house that Rico built". This is how literal Laurie gets when she's trying to fuck with me.
