Oh The Precautions That I Have To Take When I Go Out Of Town....

Yesterday, I made plans to spend some time elsewhere out of town and immediately, Laurie and Brian started to think about what they could steal from me that they need.   The preparations that I have to go through to keep my home safe is almost ridiculous where I live...never have we had to be as careful as we are now.

Tonight, I brought with me to work, all of my HIV medications and medicines that I have for the next month.  I can't risk them being stolen from my home.  Before I go out of town today, I have to store them at my parents home before I leave.  I also have to take my laptop, my new camera and anything that I know that Laurie wants to steal with me...it is this kind of constant surveillance that allows these kinds of people into your home to steal whatever they can't get in their own lives.  Apparently HIV meds and antibiotics are very high on the list of priorities in the world of remote neural operators.

I am very cautious with these medicines because they keep me alive...and they are extremely expensive.  I can't afford AFLAC so if they get stolen, I can't replace them for another month.  Also, this month my doctor switched me to a new single pill medication that replaces Reyataz and Norvir from my regimen, but I still had about a half month supply of these terrific medications...thats about a $2,000 amount of drugs.  Rather than leave those at my home to be stolen, I have to wait to see if the new drug that I am on is just as effective as the old ones...which means I have to hang on to them....but that means they can also be stolen.  Those are now locked up at my parent's home so that if I need to go back on them I have them or if I don't need them any longer that they can be donated to projects that ship them to Africa for HIV relief there.

It is highly important that if you are an electronic harassment victim that you are vigilant with your insurance and what they pay for.  Look for any anomalies in what has been covered, especially syringes or meds that you don't take...Laurie's been known to try to steal these too.
