Why HIV Patients At The Desert AIDS Project Aren't Responsible for the Growing Rate of Infection in Palm Springs, California

One thing that epidemiologists, health care givers, police and the public need to know is that gay men receiving treatment and using their medications as prescribed are NOT RESPONSIBLE  for the increasing number of infections in our area.  These infections come from people that don't know they are infected with the virus and can be linked to the growing crime of date rape drug knock out and infections.  A victim can be unconscious, without a single memory...and be infected without even thinking he or she has even remotely had an encounter with the monster that is AIDS.

I know that the tireless efforts of the doctors and nurse practitioners at the Desert AIDS Project have been prescribing a regimen of Truvada based drugs for me for the past ten years...Atripla or the combination or Reyataz and Truvada...can help in the prevention of the spread of the virus to almost 98% or higher.  So the growing rate of infections in our area can be attributed to men and women that aren't seeking treatment or don't know they have the virus.

With almost 530 victims of electronic harassment out here...all of which were implanted without any knowledge...you can see how this virus can easily have been spread without anyone knowing about it.  530 victims times however many partners each has had over the past 28 years...can lead to the number of HIV related infections in our area.

I want these people found, tested, treated and their virus genotyped for it's origin...once we know whom is spreading this virus and implanting these men...then we can take action to protect everyone.

Truvada is a combination of two drugs meant to stop the spread of virus inside of a person and from one person to another.  The safest combination for partners or couples is for BOTH people to be taking the drug for at least a month prior to sexual activity.  It's not like a Viagra where you can take it an hour before...but you need this drug to build up in your system before engaging in sexual activity.  It is a terrific break through that is about ten years old.

Here is the latest in condoms for you straightys...it's called the stirrup condom...with little stirrups on each side so you ladies don't have to touch those ugly penis things...
This condom isn't recommended for Laurie as most men don't get anything like an erection around her....peeeee ewww....smelly down there if you know what I mean.
