One of the most tell tale signs that Laurie leaves behind that shows her premeditation for committing crimes against someone are the endless lists that she leaves behind. She has a really terrible memory and, believe it or not, she keeps lists of things that she wants to do to people and things that "piss people off". Every person is different so when it comes to their torture, she likes to "personalize" and "customize" each day of torture to things that she has tested and make people mad.
Nothing shows intent and premeditation better than a list. Using them can be very helpful in her prosecution. The more lists of people that she has tortured the better. I know right now that she is working from a list of things that are supposed to make me mad, they don't work any longer, because I am cognizant of them. She literally reads from a list switching from one topic to another trying to find the right combination of things to get under my skin...it's obvious to me what she is doing and I don't let it bother me. For some people, this can be very annoying, for me it is comforting to know that I can literally take her to a point where she has to keep trying so hard. I know this shows her frustration at her inability to get to me.
