Fake Deaths, Fake Boyfriends and Life Insurance....You Won't Believe What Lisa Has To Say Now!!!

Laurie's life is a whole lot like a trashy Harlequin romance novel...complete with all of the ridiculously emotional drama plays that come with it.  We all know that she fancies the "damsel in distress" role, but what you don't know is how far she'll go to be the femme fatale.

A femme fatale is a stock character of a mysterious and seductive woman whose charms ensnare her lovers, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations. She is an archetype of literature and art.

Unfortunately for Laurie she is neither sexy nor seductive enough to trap men with her charms so she does it with lies and deceit.  Today she is embarking on another story about making Jonathan Mendenhall appear to be dead to collect on a fraudulent life insurance policy.  I've not seen any life insurance policy but someone sure went Harlequin on his death...the postings online, the newspapers, the mailings I got, the "foundation" that Anthony Dabiere's facebook page was looking to set up and "the story" of Jonathan's death which mirrors my own grandmother's death on Christmas Day is just so staged.

Today we're hearing Laurie telling people that Jonathan was her brother's boyfriend, her boyfriend and all kinds of bullshit...then there is that death notice and alleged insurance policy.

The role of the femme fatale is something out of pulp fiction...she's too big and too mysterious for real life...but to someone that fantasizes like Laurie, she fits the bill with Laurie in the starring role.  Always the drama queen.
