It's no secret that Laurie uses the Verizon phone system to torture her victims. It is my opinion that much of this crime could be stopped by utilizing stronger security of access to their system. That a private citizen can log into this system from a private home to wreak havoc on individuals is a heinous crime. Emergency services forwarded, family and friends phone numbers forwarded, text message monitoring, police emails accessed from private phones...there are a myriad of problems that can occur because of cellular phone access.
Now it is time to add one more problem to the pile of problems with Verizon. Address books stored on cloud devices. Although it may be convenient for users to store their address books in the Verizon cloud, it is not safe. Laurie can access a user's password by monitoring key strokes sent via cell phone to gain access to the cloud device, additionally the password could be stored in the account so that Laurie can see it there. Once accessed, Laurie can then use the customer's portable phone number and attach it to her own phone, download the contact's list, and viola, all of the Verizon user's friends and business contacts are now stored on Laurie's phone...then she switches the portable number back. Essentially Laurie has just now stolen your contact list. From there the assaults begin on the phone or via facebook connection.
I will repeat this to all of you again...if you receive any suspicious phone bill, text message or any anomaly with regards to your cell phone service, you need to report it immediately to the FCC and Verizon. This is a crime of opportunity...recently a victim's parent received a text message from Laurie about "Lisa" and it was only because she maintains herself as a contact in her contact list that it was discovered. Please keep all messages that you receive, it is unclear at this time what Laurie can cover up from her home.
