So how does Hollywood make another movie with primarily gay characters? Short of asking Ang Lee and Jake Gyllenhall...I have to do my research. Here's my first entry into the classic genre hall of fame.
"Shelter"...a movie about surfers, of all things....and a reality based theme about love and life.
If you click on the movie poster above...you can watch this film on Youtube.com....and I think you will like it. One of the main characters even looks a whole lot like "Moneyballs"....hope you will enjoy!
Lesson #1: The audience has to like us.
Lesson #2: Pain is pain...everyone can relate to it if it is real
Lesson #3: Gay men can be responsible and still be gay.
