About 100 or so woman and men Marines enjoyed a home cooked Thanksgiving dinner today at Roughley Manor in Twentynine Palms. I am so proud of my mom and her two friends that have been putting on this event now for four years. Our families are all there helping to serve and talk to the ladies and men that protect our country while we enjoy life in the United States.
I've never been more proud to do this than this year. The Marines are always the most appreciative and thankful. So grateful.
Happy Thanksgiving Mrs. Monti, Katzenbergs and all of the members of my teams' family...we wish you were here with us today.
