Have you ever heard of the police using HIV/AIDS as a weapon against their own community? I think it is a sad but true reality in the City of Palm Springs, California. The tale is a long one. The source is discoverable. The reasoning is hateful. The destruction will take decades to replace. The fear is real and the criminals enjoy the protection of a billionaire and a police department that uses individuals from the community to enforce crime instead of their own powers to stop it. It's a sad but true example of what absolute power does to a police department that seeks to snuff out the LGBTQ community that grew this desert oasis into the place where movie stars use to enjoy living. The police use to mockingly call it the "ultimate lifestyle" over their police radio. Meaning the gays were engaging in drugs, illicit sex and depravity as a way to mock the LGBTQ community without slurring us with the "F" word.
Advocacy work in the Coachella Valley for the victims of electronic harassment isn't without it's pitfalls. I've been arrested more times than Lindsay Lohan. I've been put in a jail cell so many times without any reason and sat there wondering what the hell am I going to say this time? There have been so many arrests and no convictions that I just wonder what it is that I have to do to make people understand that rape is rape, no matter who you are. The police on the other hand have a different policy. Shut up and take it. "Don't you understand by now?" You don't mean anything to us. You can't do anything about what happened to you. We can take the strongest case against your rapist and make it look like you lied and if you do anything about it, we'll talk to one of the wealthiest men in Hollywood and we'll have him destroy your life for us.
Jeffrey Katzenberg is that man. He's relied on the Palm Springs Police Department for years and they've relied on him. He's used them in movies like "The Longest Yard" and they've made lots of money off of gay events like "The White Party" and "The Nabisco" golf tournament for decades. The problem is that they hate gay people. They don't like us, but they love the money. What to do? They've thinned out our numbers by allowing Laurie to infect and implant our community for decades and when one of us got out of line, they crushed us. If one went too far, they would send out a cop like Kelly Fieux or Rae Fernandes or Bryan Anderson to threaten us. "We don't want you here." "You need to move out of town". I've heard them all from victims. When that doesn't work, they arrest us for nothing. They allow Laurie to infect us with HIV. They allow her to rape us, beat us with no investigation at all. What little they do, they cover up if there is any evidence at all. There are many unsolved rapes.
There is evidence, but it never goes anywhere. Now that science can show that a woman is infecting gay men, they have to come up with a new excuse. How are all of these men getting infected by one woman that they have never met? How are they going to explain this one Chief Reyes? How is your department going to get out of this one. None of us are going to admit to having sex with that ugly beast. None of us would ever use drugs with her either. So now you have the onus of trying to explain how one woman infected all of these men and you did nothing to stop it. You sent in Jeffrey Katzenberg. One of your departments biggest financial supporters. He's working with the drug dealer. How odd that is going to look.
You sent in a billionaire to stop the advocate, informant, witness and victim from your own department's case that your department said, on the television news, did not exist. Now what are you going to do? Once again, I haven't anticipated the problems that you have created for yourselves because nobody could ever expect such corruption from a group of people that used their autonomy to hurt the public in such a way. You want our money, you just don't want us.
I tried to help you. I tried to be honest. I slept at a friend's home and woke up nearly beaten to death by a girl that has admittedly tried to kill me since high school and now you've sent me a billionaire whom is working with her? This is insane. He is insane. My family is good. Purely good. Teachers. Construction workers. Community leaders. All I did was what YOUR DEPARTMENT asked me to do, was this the way you singled out my friends for extermination? Pretty good technique I'd say because Jeffrey contacted all of them for you. Now they are all in fear for their lives. I've got more people trying to hurt me because of your lack of professionalism and your lack of community support than ever. I'm trying to catch a terrorist and you're trying to throw money at her. This isn't going to work.
Jeffrey has one agenda. Hurt Kevin's family as badly as I can. He's got to be stopped now.

"I've been very good to all of you in the past. Now, I want you to do something for me. I want you to let Missy get away with this crime. I know she and her girlfriend, Laurie raped a lot of gay men and some women and gave them AIDS/HIV but I'm willing to forget that, and my own son, if you will let them slide. If you want me to continue to financially contribute to your police department then you will continue to hurt Kevin Bond and his friends and arrest them. You don't like gay men. I don't like gay men. Let's hurt them together and I will take care of all of the evidence that will support the crime of electronic harassment against these girls. So whether or not he chooses to kill me or not, it doesn't matter. He's a really terrible human being. He's just decided to take my life, crumple it up into a small ball and throw it into a waste basket. I wanted to tell him thank you for that. You are someone that I think is a total waste of time for Hollywood to have trusted with this kind of money and responsibility.
