I'm flying ahead and seeing our future. I know it looks bleak at the moment from where we are, but the future from where I see it is much brighter without Jeffrey and Marilyn. They are playing this game the absolute wrong way with us. This isn't a game of take what we have and give it to them. Something for nothing is a game for fools. They have nothing we need. They have baggage that we can't afford to pick up. We have everything that we need and we don't need anything that Jeffrey has caught. Do not give in to a terrorist demand no matter how hard he strangles me or my family. I won't allow it. I've seen what can happen to people that give up because of the pressure a man puts on people that they care about. There are other ways.
Ideals, morals, a sense of right and wrong, ethics are things that you can not give away because of people that you care about in a case this important. Jeffrey is playing cold bastard vs. hearts of gold. Is is a game for the good hearted vs. the cold bastards of the world and all too often the cold bastards win. Don't give in to him. I won't let you. I would rather die trying to do the right thing than live doing the wrong thing for him. We deserve the right to tell our story the truthful and honest way. My family would never want you to give in to a man with such a dishonest way of forcing you to give up what Missy is trying to take from your honest hard work. That's not what my parents stand for. My mom and dad worked hard all their lives. They didn't cheat their way to success, they worked for it. They didn't stomp on the poor, they gave them jobs and a hand up. Don't ever believe that this is the way to succeed.
What you think is best for me, is to tell the truth. No matter what Jeffrey tries to convince you it is. I would rather see you succeed with your lives honestly than give in to a man without scruples. You have to make yourselves whole again. You men and women that sacrificed years of yourselves to bring the public the truth about Laurie and this system have an obligation beyond my family and yours. This is a world wide problem that is bigger than Jeffrey's tiny little reputation. We must take what we know and teach others by his example of corruption and greed. His selfishness is yet another way of showing how this system can turn a father against his own family...it serves as another way of showing how awful it is for humanity.
