There can be no expectation of privacy when I have evidence that links that IP Address to other emails sent to me from others completely unrelated to the Nichol's case.
There is another way to interpret the information provided in the KMIR6 news report that would lead a viewer to believe that the insinuation made by Mike Nichols is not that he was selling meth for the police department to use in a bust, but that the police were asking him to find meth and have it brung into the store for sales. Either way the Nichols look pretty good to me on this one. You can't buy meth from someone for a sting and not be considered an informant. If you buy it and you aren't then you should be arrested for purchasing meth. If you buy it for the police to sting someone selling meth, then the only way that could be achieved is if they were informants and protected. In either case it is the job of the police to not only secure the meth but the money used to purchase it. It should have been marked for that purpose and logged into the criminal complaints of the defendants, but that creates a problem for the police as well.
In a criminal complaint it must be outlined that the meth was purchased by "someone"...if the police named any of the employees of that store or the owners, and didn't mention that they were informants, then the police have failed to arrest the purchaser of the drugs. If they do mention the names of the employees or owners, then they are considered informants...and the Nichols claim is bolstered.
Only an undercover cop inside the store could explain the bust without the use of informants...but even then the police have failed to meet their obligations to the owners of the store that they used for over 200 busts. You can't allow a business reputation to be fucked because the cops decided its a good place to bust people.
The police must meet their burden of showing the meth, the police reports for all of the defendants, the complaints for all and the money used to purchase it. Without all of these factors and an explanation of how they knew a buy went down, then this situation is nothing more than a sham. How else would a cop-less pawn shop related a meth buy to an officer without some kind of working relationship? It's literally impossible. Any other kind of situation would have resulted in the Nichols family being charged with meth purchases, which didn't happen.
Overall, without having read the complaint in the case, I would still say that this family went through something quite unfriendly with regards to a search of their home and without any type of plan. I am familiar with unfriendly police officers in this situation. While they go home to their safety we're left fending for our own...or like me...praying that I've put together the right team to keep me safe. My safety and Christopher's has been compromised a few times...I sleep with one eye open and a camera on me at all times. (I know it's too dark to see anything...lol...working on it). I think that the PSPD need only hear how Laurie talks and screams at us to understand what 8 years of her talking has been like for me. She's a raving lunatic and I will say that I got sober during this most difficult period of my life...that was always the plan.

In our situation and when I initially saw this report I assumed, as in the case of Steven Frey, that the police knew he was selling drugs and allowed him to do so to achieve arrests of people that he sold to. Also there are many cases of arrests where Laurie provided the meth for sale and the buyer was arrested right outside of her complex or in close proximity. This can be considered entrapment and meth for sale by the police. This situation was posed to Sgt. Anderson with my parents present...but the response was that his department would not do that. Ensuing contacts between the police and myself would show otherwise as the police told me not to contact them about Steven Frey even though he was the subject of our informant work...and they threatened to have criminal charges brought against me for doing the job Bryan asked me to do for him. This would show a relationship between the police and Steven Frey that protected him and not me. Officer Flinn and Rae Fernandez also asked and warned me about Steven Frey not wanting me around or questioning my relationship with him. This would also have a chilling effect on my investigation.
So with all this being said you know what will ensue now...a battle royale for supremacy of the Crimes Against Persons Section of the Palm Springs Police Department between Laurie LaDrugDealer and Det. Bryan Anderson, as she tells it, "her four year boyfriend". Laurie thinks she can rally her Remote Neural Cops against the head of that department....Laurie is always trying to show that she is better than Bryan and knows far more. She'll act like she has something to hang over his head but the alternative is that he would do nothing in favor of a woman that she says had a relationship with him. Either way we win!!!

The warnings were clear...do not mess with Steven Frey our drug dealer!!!
